We are excited for our first day of school at Fischer Middle School on Saturday, September 6th, Insha'Allah! Please read this entire email to ensure a safe and smooth first day for your children!

Road Closure Alert
Montgomery Road in Aurora is closed at the Normantown Road intersection due to railroad crossing work. Please plan your commute accordingly.
Arrival Check-In Times
Please check in at the table with the last name of the eldest student in your household. The check-in instructions below are for parents who have paid their tuition before 5pm on Sept 5th. If you are paying after 5pm on Sept 5th, please come to the green check-in table.
REGISTRATION WILL BE CANCELED IF TUITION IS NOT PAID OR IF THERE IS NO PAYMENT PLAN SETUP BY SEPT 6TH.
Arabic
- Check-In: 8:45 AM, Door 5 (ALL ARABIC STUDENTS)
- Please check in on time so students can take their Arabic placement tests at 9 AM

- Families can drop off their SNP students first, and then proceed to check-in siblings at Door 5
Dismissal Times
PreK-1st Grades
1:10-1:20 PM, Door 6
A parent MUST come inside through this door to pick up their child.
2nd-7th Grades & Youth Program
1:20-1:30 PM, Doors 2, 3, & 4
Parents will wait outside these doors. For security reasons, parents are NOT allowed inside during prayer. Please communicate exit doors, meet-up spots, etc. with your children before school.

returning students are kindly asked to bring their
Qur'an Made Easy (PreK/KG/1st Grade) or
Juz 'Amma (2nd-6th Grade) books, if available. All new students or returning students who no longer have these books will be provided a copy in class.
Traffic Flow Guidelines
We understand the traffic in our parking lots will be very heavy on our first day of school as parents will be parking to check-in and pick up their children. To ensure the safety of our students and Al-Falah families, please review the car traffic flow map below, which will be enforced at dismissal on Sept 6th and for arrival and dismissal every week going forward. Please be patient and respectful with our security team members who will be assisting with the traffic flow in our parking lots.
Reminders for Success
- Mentally Prepare Your Students: Help your children understand the purpose, procedures, and timings of the school day to ease any last-minute jitters. Let younger students know that you will be there to drop them off and pick them up at the end of the day.
- Food and Snacks: Please do not send any snacks or food with your child, as we are a nut-free zone. The school will provide egg-free and nut-free pizza every Saturday.
- Remind your child about prayer expectations
- The school day ends when the students have finished Dhuhr salah.
- All students should come to school with wudu and prayer-appropriate clothing.
- The students can do wudu before coming down for lunch if needed, but will not have time after lunch.
- ALL students should sit on the prayer mats to listen to the pre-salah talk, and maintain respect during salah.
- Phone use is not permitted in the gym from 1:00 to 1:25 PM.

We welcome you to join us Saturday, September 6th, from 10:20-11:20 AM for an overview of Al-Falah Academy's rules, expectations, operations, daily schedule, calendar highlights, and much more. Enter through Door 1 (Main Entrance) at 10:15 AM to join this session.
