What I’m loving lately: seeing the world through my daughter's eyes.
I woke up this morning with an urge to talk about the moon to my nearly 5-year-old. Why? Who knows, but stay with me. I carried her down the stairs in our PJs and stepped outside to wonder at the sky 10 minutes before sunrise. The moon was big and bright and beautiful. My daughter looks east and west and declares, “over there it's the day and over here it's the night.” Very true.
As I'm snuggling with Charlotte in my arms, soaking in the moment, I feel the simplicity of life hit me. All we really have is time. From nighttime to daytime. And it's everything.
How we choose to spend our time shapes who we are.
For me, part of that choice is Pilates—it grounds me, strengthens me, and gives me space to breathe, which leads me to being a better mom. That’s why I create a thoughtful workout schedule each week: so if you’re looking to bring a little more Pilates into your own time, you don’t have to overthink it.
