Spring is a season of renewal, growth, and transformation. As the days become longer and a little bit more green, we find ourselves reflecting on these themes in our work.
The opportunity to renovate or reposition a landscape carries both immense possibility and great responsibility. How do we preserve the essence of a place to honor its past without limiting its future? How can we restore original design intent that has been lost to time? How can we reposition existing elements that no longer serve contemporary use? How can we both elevate storytelling and allow for evolution?
At OJB, we are exploring these questions in San Antonio, Boston, Los Angeles, and San Francisco—projects with distinct histories, scales, and design solutions. Each one showcases the power of landscape to honor the past, enhance the present, and leave space for the future to unfold.
