I’m excited to say that I’ll be speaking at Kate Scott’s Square Design Summit, a free 3-day event designed specifically for Squarespace designers! The virtual event is packed with design tips, business strategies, and marketing know-how—all designed to help you refine your design skills, master your marketing, and build a better Squarespace design business.

Here’s the quick breakdown:

The Summit runs October 15–17th
Each day focuses on one area of your business: design skills, business (systems, scaling, etc.), and marketing
You’ll hear from 30 amazing speakers (including me 👋)
There’s a pop-up Facebook group where you can connect, ask questions, and share takeaways
It’s completely free to attend!

My session is "Elevate Your Designs With Squarespace Animations" ✨ where I'll show you how to bring your designs to life. We'll dive into Squarespace's built-in animation tools, explore why thoughtful movement improves user experience (not just aesthetics!), steer clear of common animation pitfalls, and I'll even share some custom code snippets you can use right away. Think of it as going from static to dynamic—your designs will have that extra polish that makes visitors stop and take notice! 🚀

Circle Day Recap

Speaking of that deep dive... can we talk about Squarespace for Pros?! 🤯 I am BEYOND excited about these new tools. They're going to be an absolute game-changer for how we work with Squarespace.

Squarespace is rolling out the features through the end of the year, and I've already decided I'm creating a mini-course on how to use Squarespace for Pros! I'm still figuring out the details—I might release modules as each feature drops, or wait until it's all out there—but either way, I want to make sure you're first to know. New Squarespace Features

Store Page on Mobile: Categories now display as dropdowns. As well as the variant dropdowns and the Add to Cart button spacing and sizing has improved for a much better mobile experience.
New Custom Code Specification: Squarespace created a resource containing a set of stable integration points you can rely on to significantly reduce or eliminate the need to address site-breaking code changes. (Everyone does freak out when they change classes and selectors 😅). See the list here.
