Welcome to our September Newsletter.
This summer, while many were enjoying a well-earned break, our Family Programme was busier than ever delivering a packed schedule of trips, activities and unforgettable experiences. Over six weeks, we recorded nearly 1,100 attendances from 150 families across 57 different activities—phew!
Some of the highlights included beach trips to Brighton and Camber Sands, a magical day out at Hobbledown Heath, unique gliding experiences at the Cambridge Gliding Centre and a family adventure day at Stubbers featuring climbing, kayaking, bushcraft and archery.
But it wasn't just about having fun. At a time when tension and division in society seem increasingly present, creating opportunities for families to continue connecting, exploring and engaging with the wider world is more important than ever.
"Nova is doing a fantastic job! I can't express in words how grateful my kids and I are for the amazing work that your team is doing. You are changing lives and creating memories for children."
Our thanks go to John Lyon's Charity and Julia Rausing Trust for their generous summer support.
