There are places in this world where the veil between dimensions feels thinner. Places where the air hums with memory, the stones seem to whisper, and the pulse of the Earth rises to meet you. These sacred sites — whether shaped by nature or the hands of ancient peoples — are more than just points on a map. They are energy portals: spiritual gateways that hold encoded wisdom, vibrational frequencies, and an invitation to remember who we truly are.
These places often call to us before we even realize it. We may feel a magnetic pull toward a land we’ve never stepped foot on, or we may find ourselves unexpectedly emotional in the presence of a mountain, a body of water, or a spiraling path shaped like a serpent.
I remember this so vividly: last year we offered a class on sacred sites and portals via Zoom. While preparing for it, I learned so much — and was astonished by the powerful energy centers right here in the United States. Sites I hadn’t even known existed suddenly came alive for me.
We guided a meditation during that class to connect with the spirit of one of these sacred places, and the energy that poured through was palpable. Many felt it as tingling, warmth, or waves of emotion. Some even received clear visions or messages. It was a beautiful reminder that you don’t have to physically visit a sacred site to receive from it — intention, openness, and presence are powerful enough.
We explored places like:
Sedona, Arizona – with its powerful red rock vortexes known to catalyze deep spiritual awakening
Crater Lake, Oregon – a still and sacred caldera lake, shimmering with crystalline clarity and ancient energy
Great Serpent Mound, Ohio – a sacred Earth effigy shaped like a coiled serpent, believed to channel the Earth’s energy and align with astronomical events.
Even seeing the name of one may light something up inside you — and that’s your invitation to connect. Find a quiet moment, breathe deeply, and allow yourself to journey there in meditation. Ask, “What do you have to show me?” or “Is there a message here for my path?” You might be surprised by what rises up to meet you.
As you walk the inner paths of your own sacred soul, know that these ancient places are allies. They hold memory, healing, and activation — and their wisdom lives within you too.
With reverence and radiant light,
Sue
