Love your Bookshop
Kia ora koutou,

This month, we are celebrating New Zealand Bookshops and you're invited! The 10th NZ Bookshop Day is on Saturday 11th October and we have some wonderful reasons to come and visit. Get together for an Auckland Bookshop Tour, have some Time Out at one of our reading raves, pick up a custom Bobo Doodles artwork from our mini print vending machine or look in store for the Libro.fm Golden Ticket.

We're especially excited about our collaboration with Bobo Doodles. To celebrate Bookshop Day, Bobo Doodles has created 5 pieces of artwork inspired by Time Out and Mount Eden. Hidden in two of the mini prints are prize tickets - find one and you’ll win an A5 print of our iconic Time Out storefront.
All you need to do is purchase a token, turn the dial, and a surprise design will be yours!
x1 token = $7
x3 tokens = $18
x5 tokens = $28
The 2025 Booker shortlist has been announced! Whilst the crowd favourites of Maria Reva's Endling and Benjamin Wood's Seascraper didn't make the cut, the finalists cover common themes of new surroundings, diaspora and familial relationships.

Here are our September bestsellers!
Christmas titles are upon us and we're at the stage where there are so many new books coming in, it's impossible to fit them all in here. Scroll down for just a selection of our new and recent releases, staff picks, radio reviews and events. However, here's so much more to be seen on the shelf - we hope to see you soon!

Happy reading!

Love,

these poems were made during five years of eating and living in glaschu, scotland. they should not be taken as reviews - nor should the quality of the poems necessarily be seen to reflect on the quality of any food or place which may bare a similar name, in either a positive or negative light.

Food, culture, history, race, food. No-one combines these subjects like Glasgow based, England born, of Hong Kong heritage Sean Wai Keung.
