This weekend, I’m off on a long-awaited girl’s trip with one of my dearest friends—our destination? Boston, for a night with none other than John Mulaney (my forever favorite comedian). I’m manifesting the kind of velvety New England autumnal air you only read about, and, speaking of books, I of course carved out time for a pilgrimage to my favorite bookstore in the world: Beacon Hill Books.
There’s something about traveling with a friend you’ve known forever—the kind you can slip into rhythm with so easily, where the conversations run deep, the silences are comfortable, and even an airport coffee feels like part of the fun.
So here’s your weekend challenge: reconnect with that person in your own life. Maybe it’s a phone call, maybe it’s a walk, maybe it’s a glass of red wine and laughter that stretches too late into the night. It doesn’t matter how—it just matters that you do.
