Now that we’ve outlined the four steps to identifying your key habits for an amazing semester, let’s highlight a few that truly make a difference. 📚🔑
 
One of the best ways to beat procrastination is to tackle your most important—or hardest—task first thing in the day. Many call this “eating the frog.” 🐸

When you spend too much time worrying about what you need to do, those tasks start to feel bigger and scarier than they really are. The longer you hesitate, the more energy you waste avoiding them.
 
Instead, set yourself up for success with focused time blocks. By pre-scheduling when you’ll work on key tasks, you remove the mental battle. No overthinking—just show up and get it done.
 
One powerful strategy is the Power Hour: turn off distractions, set a 60-minute timer, and give your full attention to one high-priority task.
 
The best part? Once you start, momentum kicks in. Build the habit of scheduling just one Power Hour a day, and over time, staying consistent will feel easier—and way more rewarding.

  • Decide the night before when you’ll complete your Power Hour.
  • Choose a time of day when you feel most energized and focused.
  • Eliminate distractions—yes, that means putting your phone away.
  • Set a 60-minute timer and dive into your highest-priority task.
  • Bonus: if you finish early, roll that momentum into the next task!

Pay attention to when you naturally feel sharpest—morning, afternoon, or evening. Schedule your Power Hour during that window, and track your productivity. Over time, you’ll discover your brain’s prime time for focus.
