Last week, I made the case: every high-intent service deserves it's own landing page.

Not a catch-all.
Not a services dump.
Not a half-hearted “Contact Us to Learn More.”

If you want to rank, if you want to convert, and if you want your offers to actually work–your landing pages need to be structured like they mean business.

So what is a landing page (and how is it different from your homepage)?

From an SEO perspective: your homepage is broad. It’s designed to rank for branded terms and introduce your business.

A landing page, on the other hand, targets a specific high-intent keyword tied to a service or offer. It’s laser-focused, built to match exactly what someone’s searching for, and gives them one clear next step. That’s why it ranks faster and converts better.

So now, I'm delivering the thing I promised: my go-to landing page blueprint.

It's the same framework I use with clients who want to stop spinning their wheels and start seeing results… whether that's better rankings, more inquiries, or higher close rates.

Your Landing Page Blueprint

1. Headline that Mirrors Search Intent
Think: Custom Kitchen Renovations in Annapolis, MD vs. “Let's Design Together.” Make the headline do the work.

This helps both Google and your audience know they're in the right place.

2. Clarity-First Introduction
Lead with what the service is, who it's for, and what outcome it delivers. Bonus points if you naturally weave in your keyword!

3. Proof it Works
Client testimonials, before/afters, stats, screenshots–whatever backs up the promise you're making, show it.

4. Detailed Service Breakdown
What's included? How does it work? Use bullet points. Make it skimmable! This isn't the place for vague vibes, it's the place for clear expectations.

5. Location + Niche Cues
Mention your geography, your niche, or your people. Let search engines and humans know who you're here for!

6. Use a CTA that makes the next step obvious
Make the next step painfully obvious, and repeat it more than once:
  • Book a Consult
  • Start Your Project
  • Get a Free Quote
  • Schedule a Call
7. Anticipate the Hesitations (FAQs)
Use this space to answer the questions people are really asking in their heads… before they ghost.

The closer you get to how your people actually ask, the better this content section will convert. And just because you answered it somewhere else does NOT mean you don't bring it up again (because people SKIM)

Examples:
“How long does this service take?”
“What's included in the price?”
“What if I'm not ready to commit yet?”
“Do you work with [specific industry or business type]?”

Bonus: Technical Touches
  • Target your keyword in your H1, and at least one subheading
  • Internal links matter, so link to your homepage, to a relevant blog
  • Add schema (especially if you're local!)

Pro Tip: Don't just clone your homepage vibe! Landing pages are guest rooms, not the foyer. They should be tailored specifically to whomever is landing there.

Until next week,
