Dearest flowers friends,

Hello, and happy fall! The past few months have flew by and suddenly the leaves are beginning to change color. How did this happen so quickly?!

On that note, I am so excited to announce the launch of our first zine, the Fleurvoyant Fall Almanac! This has been such a fun project to work on on with my talented designer, @noelledlejano, who has been such a joy to work with. I hope these pages and exercises fill you with hope and inspiration for this new season we find ourselves in.

Over here at Fleurvoyant, we've been filling our days with weddings and a slew of fun creative projects – ideas I've had in the making for white some time now, and they're finally coming to fruition. It's a beautiful feeling – to see the fruits of your labor come to life, some ideas dormant in seed for far too long.

Recently I've been reading 10x Is Easier Than 2x by Benjamin Hardy and Dan Sullivan (highly recommend!) and something they hone in on is measuring your progress by what you've done, and not in comparison to your ideal of where you want to be – they call this the gap & the gain. I've found this perspective shift extremely liberating and inspiring, a reminder to recognize all of the progress that has been made as fuel to keep going and to trust in yourself and your abilities. After all, we've all already come this far!

And of course, I could not have done any of this alone. The past few months have made it even more clear to me how important team work is – and how much more fun it is too! This moment of deep gratitude came rushing to me earlier this week at a sun-filled studio space in downtown LA – flowers everywhere, jewelry and clothes scattered around, and my best friends and I creating photo magic with @fromthedaisies. I can't wait to share more of that soon!

Lastly, special shout out to Caroline, our NYC florist, who has been by my side since day one of Fleurvoyant. We've flowered together across coasts and across oceans, and it's been so heartwarming to watch us evolve together.

I'm realizing through all of these collaborations with friends, fellow designers, and clients – this is what makes Fleurvoyant worth pursuing. Perhaps the most beautiful experience is creating beauty, together.

I hope this zine can be a gateway for you to do that as well.

xx,
Em

With love,
