What detail surprises you in this painting?

Several of you, including Dr. Patel, noted that the brim of the boy's hat doesn't appear to be attached to the crown.  Or, as Bernie put it, it's “floating around his head.”

Maria commented on “the intense, hard work of blowing bubbles!” (Question for Maria: what one specific detail gave you that idea?)

Mary Pat noted the novelty of a young boy having a peacock feather in their hat.

She, as well as Rachelle, also noticed the scars on the boy's cheeks.

Thank you to all this month's contributors!

Next month's painting is a new-to-me nude with plenty of unusual details to spot.

First name / Reader,  would you like to contribute to our next Intuition issue?

Why do we do this exercise?
It sharpens your intuition, which is your brain's ability to focus on spotting exceptions to the system, rather than recognizing patterns or rationalizing an anomaly.

Developing this skill enables you to identify emerging possibilities faster than others do. Your intuitions are your gateways to creating new plans.

“Intuition sparks plans.”—Primal Intelligence

Next week, Imagination.

In the meantime, The Commonwealth Club of San Francisco recently hosted Angus and Dr. Moira Gunn to talk all things Primal.

As always, thank you for reading,
Sarah & Angus
