A big thank you to our friends at The Groomery in Alexandria, VA, for helping make this addition possible.

Fall Financial Check in

Image item
Just like raking leaves, fall is the perfect time to tidy up your finances before the busy holiday season. Start by reviewing bills to identify any minor cuts you can make, such as unused subscriptions, and ensure you're on track with your year-end savings goals. Fall is also a harvesting season, making it a smart time to stock up on affordable, seasonal produce like squash, apples, and sweet potatoes that can be stored or frozen. And with Thanksgiving and the December holidays around the corner, consider setting aside even $5–$10 a week now to ease the pressure of holiday expenses later. Taking small steps this fall can make a big difference in keeping your finances steady through the colder months.
