Ken & Albert's Origin Story
“ Ken Kehoe & Albert Wilson have been in the design shop business since 2005. During COVID Lockdowns, they closed their to-designers-only showroom in the Houston Design Center, and focused on their interior design business. One of their clients owns a place about 6 miles south, near Cater Hill, which is how they found Winnsboro. They fell in love with the city and its townspeople, and decided to purchase the old "Pumpkin Lot” on E Carnegie to build a home some day. When Monica Coffman moved 5C Creations to Main Street last summer, Ken & Albert rented her old space to start Kehoe Wilson Design Shop. They enjoyed being here so much, they moved from Houston full-time in November 2024.”
Who is Ken Kehoe?
An award-winning, native Texan whose artistry fills homes with colorful furniture, fabrics & trim, rugs, drapery & wallpapers, and lighting, art & accessories. Ken's national clientele and international experience have offered him incredible freedom to design in all styles, and he is renown for his vivid interpretations of classic French style in today's modern world.
With over 45 years experience in interior design, construction management, procurement, and installation, Ken works nationwide, all from a central office in Winnsboro, TX, about 2 hours east of Dallas, among the rolling farmlands and tall woods of the splendid Lakes Area in North East Texas.

Beyond The Shop
Contributing to the interior design community and industry, Ken Kehoe expanded his scope from client consultations to building a ground-up construction firm, creating custom furniture & lighting lines, importing antiques from France & Italy, and launching his beautiful namesake showroom in Decorative Center Houston.
While it was not re-opened after C-19 lockdowns and Ken Wilsons Design Shop settled in Winnsboro, TX. Ken & Albert still serve their Houston area clients alongside Dallas & the East Texas Lakes Area.
