Happy Friday!
October 3, 2025
By the time this lands in your inbox, I’m hopefully still cocooned under the covers—sleeping in (read: 8:00 a.m.)—after a night spent bathed in stage lights and sequins, heart fluttering as the first chords rang out. It was a night spent basking in The Life of A Showgirl, and I stayed up far too late capturing every moment.
My life, in so many ways, has been charted in Taylor Swift eras. Debut spun under the strobe lights of middle school dances; Fearless scored my first dates; Red held space for heartbreak; 1989 was my anthem for the first thrilling steps on my own as a young adult. I fell in love with Carter to the hum of Reputation, and Folklore was the quiet companion of late nights studying for the bar. These albums have been both mirror and map—illuminating joy, anchoring grief, narrating growth.
Whatever melodies lie ahead, I feel ready to meet them—sparkling-eyed and open-hearted. Whether you’re a Swiftie or not, I hope you have you take time this weekend to reflect on the benchmarks of your life—the constants that have been with you through each chapter—and that you greet the next page like the swell of a new refrain.
With Love,
Lauren
