The Early Application Window for siblings is open even earlier this year! Current families are given first access before the application is opened to the general public later this month. Follow the sibling application guide to submit your interest for both K-12 and Preschool for 2026-2027.

Siblings receive priority consideration for open seats, but enrollment is not guaranteed. Exact availability won’t be known until withdrawals are submitted by current students.

Come out and cheer for our Club Baseball team TONIGHT as they play The Rock (Red) vs. The Rock (Black) game on October 8 @ 5:30p at Diamond Sports Park. Then stay to see The Rock (Black) take on Ft. Clarke at 7:10p.

🎵 Elementary Choir Club | Now on THURSDAYS

We’re excited to launch Choir Club as a free after-school program available to students in 4th-5th grade! Details and registration at the link above.

👋🏼 No School This Friday (Oct 10) and Next Friday (Oct 17)

The school and preschool will be closed this Friday for a Teacher Work Day, and next Friday in honor of UF's Homecoming. Enjoy your time off!

🍗 Chick Fil A Lunch Orders Update

CFA is closed for ordering Monday Oct 20th & 27th. We have refunded everyone who ordered these days, so students need to plan to bring lunch or order lunch in the Collab if they are MS/HS.

🎷 Pep Band Interest

Parents, staff and students in grades 5-12 are invited to join our Pep Band, led by Band Director Craig Eaton. Check out this form for more information, and to submit your interest! Practices will be on Fridays at 3:30, starting Oct 31st.

This Spring TRS Performing Arts is proudly presenting: The Man Who Came to Dinner

"Step into the 1930s—wit, chaos, and a houseful of hilarity await, with 20+ unique roles in one of Broadway’s funniest comedies.”

We’re looking for actors of all experience levels who are ready to bring a story to life on stage. Auditions will consist of reading a few lines in character. If you would like lines to practice before the audition, please reach out to Mrs. Leightman.

🐊 Gator Day | Oct 16

In honor of UF Homecoming, our students and staff are invited to wear an Orange & Blue shirt in lieu of their uniform polo to school on Thursday, October 16. Any combination of orange and/or blue and/or a Gator logo is acceptable attire. Other universities and colors are not allowed, so save that gear for Spirit Week. Bottoms and shoes must still meet uniform guidelines. There's no cost to participate.

Our newly-elected Student Leadership Association has finalized this year's Spirit Week theme, so get ready for the ultimate showdown of styles, eras, and creativity. This year's theme is... THIS or THAT!

Students in all grade levels are invited to join in the fun. Please remember to choose costumes that reflect the culture, vision, and values of The Rock School. (Note: Leggings may only be worn under a skirt/dress and may not be worn as pants.) Students who do not wish to participate should wear a normal school uniform.

🎨👟 Monday: Artist or Athlete? Channel your inner Picasso or Patrick Mahomes — whether it’s a famous musician, a street artist, or your favorite pro athlete, today’s your day to show your style!
👯‍♀️ Tuesday: Two or More Tuesday. Squad up! Grab a friend or form a group and dress up together. Think dynamic duos, meme squads, or character crews. The more the merrier — and the sillier, the better!
👑😵 Wednesday: Dressy or Messy? Time to take it to the extreme! Go full glam in a tux or dress, or show up like you just rolled out of bed and into a laundry pile. Fancy or funky — pick your path!
📻🚀 Thursday: The Past or the Future? Blast from the past or leap into the future? Whether you're rocking '70s disco, '90s grunge, or stepping out like you're from 2099 — today is all about time travel style!
🔴⚫️ Friday: Red or Black. Let’s end the week with a BANG! Wear anything and everything red or black and show off your school spirit. Shirts, hats, socks — go wild! Let’s paint the school in our colors just in time to kick off basketball season with The Jump.

🏀 Girls Basketball Tryouts | Oct 22 | 1p

Girls in grades 5-8 who are interested in joining the basketball team are invited to try-outs on Wednesday, October 22nd at 1p. All participants must have their paperwork properly submitted online at therock.school/sports by Tuesday, October 21st. An up-to-date physical examination is required.
