🐾Meet Genji: one of VOKRA’s 

Longest Residents 😻

 

 

She came to us after her guardian, overwhelmed by Genji’s medical and behavioral needs, had to surrender her. Genji was overweight, stressed, and struggling with grooming and mobility. She showed signs of discomfort, including hissing and growling when in pain.

But Genji wasn’t broken — she was waiting for the right environment to thrive.

 

Thanks to her foster families and VOKRA’s care team, Genji has made remarkable progress. She’s now on a weight management diet, handles her own grooming, and delights in food puzzles and treat scavenger hunts. Her fosters describe her as warm, social, and affectionate — with a purr that could power a small city.

Genji prefers to be the only pet and would flourish in a calm, loving home with older children. She’s a survivor, a snuggler, a puzzle master, and a loyal friend.
