🛠 Try this in your next meeting:
After presenting an issue or agenda item, before getting to “What should we do?”:
- Lead with: “What aren’t we seeing yet?”
- Give the team 2 minutes of silence to write questions, not answers.
- Share them aloud before diving into solutions and To Dos.
Note: If Wonder is not natural for you, think about someone you know who has Wonder - or is great at asking those What if… questions. Imagine what they might ask and channel them into your conversation.
Bonus points: If someone on your team has the Genius of Wonder, invite them to share directly. Wonder can be easy to miss - people with this Genius often assume others are asking the same big-picture questions they are. (We’re not!) So, ask: “What’s on your mind?” and let their curiosity shine.
✅ This week’s challenge:
Add a “Wonder question” at the start of one project discussion. Notice how it broadens the conversation from the beginning.
Try it. Let me know how it goes.
