Get Ready for a Month-Long Reading Adventure! Join the Casa Grande Main Library and Vista Grande Library for an exciting reading challenge open to kids, teens, and adults! Track Your Progress Use the Beanstack Tracker App to log your reading time and stay on top of the challenge. **For Kids (Ages 0–12) Pick up an activity sheet at either library location. Complete all 10 fun activities to earn a special prize! Children must be present to claim their prize.  
**For Teens & Adults Read 5 books and log them on Beanstack to receive a reading-themed pin as your reward.  
**Important Note: Participants may only register at one library—either Casa Grande Main or Vista Grande. Ready to dive into a great book? Let the reading begin!

Dive into the captivating world of board games with us over an exciting 11-week journey. Each week brings a new adventure filled with fun, strategy, and friendly competition. This program is specially designed for students in grades 6 through 12, offering engaging gameplay sessions that promise to entertain and challenge. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to make new friends and discover your favorite board games! The fun starts at the Casa Grande Main Library on Thursdays @ 4:00 p.m.

Come join us at the Main Library for free food and fun! The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) helps families learn healthy eating on a budget.
Cook, Save, Enjoy is an 8-class series designed for caregivers of children. Discover smart ways to save money on groceries, make healthier food choices, and boost fruits, veggies, and physical activity in your daily routine. October 17th,  from 2:00-3:00 p.m. No registration required.

Vroom, vroom in the month of October with this classic Disney Pixar series. Join us at the Casa Grande Main Library on Saturday, October 18th at 2:00 p.m. Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult. Light snacks and drinks with screw top lids are allowed. Children's Program- ADULTS must be accompanied by a child.

Ms. Violeta and Alondra will host a Spanish Conversation Gathering to practice your Spanish speaking skills. No registration required. Thursdays at the Vista Grande Library from 12:30-1:00 p.m. September 18th through December 4th.

English as a Second Language have started at the Vista Grande Library. Classes will also be offered on  Tuesdays and Thursdays. Both classes are from 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. weekly. No registration required and all levels are welcome. Come to one day or come to both!

Known as Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead), this holiday celebrates and remembers those whom have passed away. We will be celebrating with an all-ages event on October 24th from 8:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Casa Grande Main Library, 449 N. Drylake St. The event includes a Dia De Los Muertos Storytelling, Folklorico Dancers, and Mariachi music. A kid’s craft and pan dulce will also be part of the fun.

Current Challenges:
  1. 25 in 25 Challenge (All Ages) Read 25 Books throughout 2025
  2. 1000 Books Before Kindergarten (Ages 0-5) Parents, read 1,000 books to your child before they start kindergarten! Show the completed challenge at either library location and get a certificate and picture in front of a fun backdrop!
  3. Fall into Reading Challenge, scroll uo to reads about it!

Doing a little spring cleaning? The Friends of the Casa Grande Public Library are looking for donations! You can drop off your smaller donations to either library,
The Main Library at 449 N. Drylake Street or
The Vista Grande Library at 1556 N. Arizola Rd anytime during regular business hours. For larger donations please call ahead, 520-421-8710, to make arrangements. 

Volunteers needed.
Volunteers needed! The Central Lutheran Church Adult Community Education (ACE) Team offers general education tutoring and English as a second language (ESL) coaching. Volunteers work one-on-one or with small groups once or twice a week to help participants achieve personal development goals. If you would like to serve on the ACE Team, complete the VOLUNTEER INTEREST FORM available here:
