Let’s talk about the time warp that is October.

Halloween’s around the corner, and suddenly everyone’s talking Black Friday deals, holiday parties, and “year-end goals.”

But before you speed into the chaos, take a beat.

Your website could quietly become your best holiday helper if you set it up now. But we don't need to do a rush job on it, either.

Here’s what I want you to do this week:
Check your top 3 pages:
Make sure your homepage, services, and contact page all still sound current— not like they were written last January.

Review your CTAs:
If your “Work With Me” button still says “Book for Summer 2024,” it’s time for a refresh. Align it with where you actually want people to take action this season.

Prep your messaging for the slowdown:
If your business slows down over the holidays, use your site to capture interest for the new year. If you stay busy, make it easy for people to buy, book, or inquire without you manually replying to every message (so you can actually, you know, enjoy the holiday season?)

A few small tweaks now can make your site feel alive and ready for this holiday season even when you’re… not.

Your website doesn’t take holidays.

But you can.

By tightening things up before November, you’ll go into the season knowing your site is still converting quietly in the background.

So this week’s goal is simple:
Don’t wait until you’re overwhelmed to optimize! Carve an hour out and really take a look at your site this upcoming week.

Know someone who rushes through their holiday prep and forgets their website until January? Forward them this email. Future-them will thank you!

PS: If you’d rather hand this off entirely, our Monthly Optimization Retainer keeps your site fresh, fast, and working year-round… no extra effort required!

Until next week,
CJ
