Â
Hello friends!
Â
October always carries a little extra weight for me. It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month and also the month, ten years ago, on October 1, that I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Feels so long ago, and not so long ago.
Â
That moment changed everything. It taught me how strong I could be. It taught me how soft I could be. It stripped away the illusion of control, and gave me trust, clarity, and a deep appreciation for the mess and magic of being alive.
Â
I write about this chapter of my life in my book-Â More than Millions; Finding the Gold Within (coming Spring 2026) and even now, re-reading it reminds me how this experience cracked me open in ways that still ripple through everything I do. How I love, create, and move through the world.Â
Â
Healing, I’ve learned, isn’t about going back to who you were. It’s about remembering who you are!
Â
Ten years later, I’m cancer free. Grateful. Grounded. Still here.
If this month holds meaning for you, if you’re walking through it, or holding space for someone who is..Â
             I see you.Â
You are part of an amazing circle of strength and light that connects us all.Â
Â
Get the checkup. Wear the pink. Call your people. And hug, hug, hug those you hold dear.
        Â
love, mmcÂ
