Dear Education Community,
A very warm welcome to Term 4 and we hope that you had a wonderful Mid-Autumn festival.
Bookings are still available for Term 4: Are you looking for a fun and educational end-of-year activity to do with your students?
Well, It’s not too late to book in for one of our unique programs before the end of the 2025 school year. We still have availability in October, November and December. End of year excursions are a fun way to culminate and celebrate students’ learning from the year.
The Chinese Museum showcases the heritage and culture of the Australian Chinese community and we offer engaging insights into Australian and Chinese histories. Students can experience life on the goldfields in our Finding Gold exhibition, learn about Chinese mythology and symbolism, discover the inventions of the Han Dynasty, and explore ancient burial customs. The One Million Stories exhibition presents Chinese-Australian history spanning the last 200 years.
Immerse students in a cultural day packed with activities including our popular Museum Tour and Chinatown Tour, select from a range of hands-on craft workshops, or get physical with our Kung Fu workshops. For a memorable and yummy experience, we also offer affordable lunch packages with our partner restaurant.
We are able to tailor half day and full day learning and cultural experiences for you and your students. Please contact our friendly booking staff to discuss your requirements
The Chinese Museum can support your teaching and students’ learning in the subjects of Australian History, Ancient Chinese History; Asia and Australia’s engagement with Asia; Chinese LOTE, and cultural diversity and practices in the Intercultural Capability Curriculum.
