⏲️ TIP 5) Set a timer for 10 minutes.
Walk around your school for 10 minutes to check tidiness.
Imagine you're a guest in your school and notice the mess, the piles in the corner. That mess may make the difference for a family to look elsewhere. You'd be amazed at what you can accomplish in 10 minutes.
I'm not suggesting a major purge and reorganization project. I'm saying tidy up. You'll be happy you did.
🫱🏼🫲🏽 TIP 4) Make a friend.
Find a non-competitor school in your area, and connect with the admission director.
Take a tour there and listen about how they highlight their best (and how they hide their mess). Invite them to your school for the same experience. Talking to a professional in the field in a non-competitive way will help you both grow.
🎟️ TIP 3) Make event RSVPs easy
List your upcoming admission events in your email signature with a link to RSVP.
Let's make it easy for families to register, attend, and fall in love with your school. We all live by email. Put your events right in front of their eyes.
💌 TIP 2) Invite Board members to events.
It doesn't hurt to re-sell them on the school again. When you invite Board Members to your events, you keep them engaged, give them a taste of the school and remind them what they are committed to.
👏🏼 Tip 1) Every Interaction is an Opportunity.
Every email, every text, every phone call is an opportunity to sell your school. Don't miss it. Any time you are writing to a family, sneak in something delicious that you happened to see at school today (and remind the reader why they should love your school.)
