I haven't heard this quote before but walked by it painted on a sign this past weekend in Monterosso, one of the five Cinque Terra towns along the Ligurian coast in Italy. If you've been following me for a spell, you know I'm obsessed with all things Italia after spending nearly four years obtaining my Italian citizenship. 

 

I was thrilled to head back with Mr. Mecca (middle pic) some friends, even meeting one of my dearest friends, author James Blatch, who I coaxed from the UK to meet us for an extended weekend in Florence. (That's him in the top middle in a pic we laughingly said makes us look like we're negotiating a nasty divorce. lol) Of course, it wouldn't be a full vacation if inspiration hadn't hit at some point. Luckily, I was just beginning the Bachelor Pact book #4 on the train from Chianti to Cinque Terra, so you can expect a little Italia excursion for our Cedar Falls friends.
