October in the Southern Hemisphere marks the true arrival of spring. The moment when Johannesburg transforms from parched and dusty into a lush, green jungle. The air feels lighter, the colours shift, and everything seems to hum with possibility.

It’s also my birthday month, which always brings a mix of reflection and renewal. I find myself not only spring-cleaning my home but also taking stock of where I am in life, in business, and creatively. There are some exciting projects on the horizon for 2026, and with a bit of luck, a few more will be signed off before we wrap for the holidays.
