We are so grateful for our partnership with Lauren and her team. A percentage of their dill pickle flavored popcorn is donated to WOKC every month. Hear from her directly on why she supports our mission:
"As a mom, I can’t imagine anything harder than watching your child face cancer. Supporting WOKC through our Dill Pickle flavor is my way of standing with these kids and families, bringing a little light and love during such difficult times. Giving back is the heart of Live Love Pop, and WOKC embodies everything we believe in.” –Lauren Mariel, Founder & CEO of Live Love Pop
Volunteer of the Month:
Ava Danuser
Ava knows firsthand what it’s like to face pediatric cancer. Today, she’s turned her experience into purpose — volunteering with WOKC to bring comfort, courage and smiles to children fighting the same battle she once fought. Last month, Ava organized a large Buddy Bag drive with Highland Park High School's National Honor Society. She also serves on the Young Champions Board and recently sold 50/50 raffle tickets at WOKC Night at the Frisco Roughriders game.
Thank you for your dedication, Ava.

For the third year in a row, Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth partnered with WOKC to host a special September event in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Children made crafts, played games and enjoyed time away from their hospital room.
We are grateful for this meaningful partnership and for the dedication of Megan Hodges Cook and the Pediatric Hematology and Oncology team.
