Assalamu-Alaikum ICN Al-Falah Academy Families!
MashaAllah, Al-Falah Academy (AFA) was proud to show strong support for ICN at last week’s Fundraising Dinner. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, or contributed in any way!
Highlights from the evening included:
- AFA staff purchased 4 tables and many volunteered at the event.
- Three of our students, Zainab Quadri, Hasan Farooqi, and Mishal Sheezan, had their “Why I Love ICN” essays published in the brochure.
- Our Connections Art Program was featured at a display table, along with our fundraising poster designed by Sr. Majeda ElSabke.
- Photos of our staff and students appeared in brochures placed on every table.
- Al-Falah was prominently showcased in the ICN Fundraising video
We were especially honored to see:
- AFA student, Sulaiman Bukhari, recite the 99 Names of Allah (SWT) beautifully on stage
- Alumna, former TA, and now teacher, Sr. Noor Khan, give a powerful speech about how AFA shaped her educational journey
These moments inspired over 600 attendees, MashaAllah! The ICN Board sent a letter of appreciation to AFA Administration, thanking our presenters and staff for their contributions. We are truly blessed to have such an amazing, tight-knit community that supports one another and uplifts the next generation. May Allah (SWT) continue to put barakah in our efforts!
🕌 Al-Falah Fundraiser for ICN – Support Our Masajid!
This is the final weekend for students to submit their Sadaqah Jar envelopes as we wrap up our fundraiser. Let’s come together to give generously and strengthen our connection to our masajid, our faith, and our community.

The Healthy Driven 5K is almost here, this Sunday! Join myself and Al-Falah Academy team members as we walk or run to promote health and connect with our broader Naperville community!

🌍 Muslims Around the World (MATW) – Coming Soon!
Planning is underway for one of Al-Falah’s most popular events of the year. This event is a unique opportunity for our students and families to explore the beautiful diversity within the global Muslim ummah. Families host interactive tables representing different countries complete with creative cultural displays.
Held during a time of year when we may feel isolated or underrepresented in Western society, MATW is our way of celebrating our identity, building pride, and showcasing the richness of our cultures…all while making everyone feel welcomed and included.

We’ll be sending out a sign-up form to all parents soon. If you’re interested in participating, please reserve both dates on your calendar. We look forward to another amazing MATW celebration, inshaAllah!
🌟 Surah Club
Surah Club is an extra curricular opportunity for students to engage in a healthy competition with their peers to encourage excelling in the memorization of Quran! Students will memorize the Surahs on their own and compete during their testing dates.
Testing Dates:
- Nov. 1st: Pre-K, KG, & 1st Grades
- Nov. 8th: 2nd thru 4th Grades
- Nov. 15th: 5th thru 7th Grades
We encourage interested students to register and take part in this beneficial initiative. Please find the registration link and the list of Surahs and Duas below.

🎳Family Fun Night at Main Event - Oct 31st
Family Fun Night is quickly approaching! Make sure to register if you haven't already and remember, prices will go up after October 25th. Al-Falah & Noor Academies, Children's Committee, and ICN Youth have come together to offer our community a "family fun night" at Main Event on Oct 31st.
