Get Ready for a Month-Long Reading Adventure! Join the Casa Grande Main Library and Vista Grande Library for an exciting reading challenge open to kids, teens, and adults! Track Your Progress Use the Beanstack Tracker App to log your reading time and stay on top of the challenge. **For Kids (Ages 0–12) Pick up an activity sheet at either library location. Complete all 10 fun activities to earn a special prize! Children must be present to claim their prize.  

**For Teens & Adults Read 5 books and log them on Beanstack to receive a reading-themed pin as your reward.  

**Important Note: Participants may only register at one library—either Casa Grande Main or Vista Grande. Ready to dive into a great book? Let the reading begin!

Join Ms. Julie at the Main Library for our annual Trick-or-Treat Storytime on October 28th @10:00 a.m. in Peart Park. 350 E 6th St

Come dressed in your favorite costume (not required) and enjoy a spooky story in Peart Park. After storytime, we’ll stroll along the StoryWalk path for some festive trick-or-treating fun! Don’t forget to bring your own treat bag or bucket to collect goodies!

It’s a frightfully delightful event for children and their grown-ups—see you there!

Bring the kids by the Vista Grande Library, 1556 N. Arizola Rd, at 3:30 p.m. for a fun mask making activity just for kids. A variety of mask templates will be available.

Does your iPad or iPhone have you confused? Learn the basics in our Beginning iPad/iPhone technology class on Thursday, October 30th from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at the Main Library, 449 N. Drylake Street. No registration required. Tell your friends and family!

Bring your kids by the Vista Grande Public Library for Day of the Dead stories, snacks, and a sugar skull decorating craft. Saturday, November 1st from 10-11 a.m. 1556 N. Arizola Rd.

Join Ms. Alisa and others on Monday, November 3rd from 10:00-11:15 a.m. at the Vista Grande Library, as they introduce a new topic of Genealogy each month to assist you in the journey to your past. This month's topic: Using Maps for Genealogy

Dive into the captivating world of board games with us over an exciting 11-week journey. Each week brings a new adventure filled with fun, strategy, and friendly competition. This program is specially designed for students in grades 6 through 12, offering engaging gameplay sessions that promise to entertain and challenge. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to make new friends and discover your favorite board games! The fun starts at the Casa Grande Main Library on Thursdays @ 4:00 p.m.

Do you like to knit or crochet? Maybe want to learn or teach others? Join the Crochet and Knitting Club on Fridays at the Vista Grande Library, from 3:30-5:00 p.m. Bring your own supplies. Some yarn will be available while supplies last. Ages 12+ and member led. 

Join us on Saturday, November 1st at 2:00 p.m. for a family movie and coloring at the the Casa Grande Main Library, 449 N. Drylake Street. Set off on an extraordianry journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel's family history in this movie.  Light snacks and drinks with crew top lids allowed, Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult and adults who attend must have a child with them.

Ms. Violeta and Alondra will host a Spanish Conversation Gathering to practice your Spanish speaking skills. No registration required. Thursdays at the Vista Grande Library from 12:30-1:00 p.m. September 18th through December 4th.

Volunteers needed! The Central Lutheran Church Adult Community Education (ACE) Team offers general education tutoring and English as a second language (ESL) coaching. Volunteers work one-on-one or with small groups once or twice a week to help participants achieve personal development goals. If you would like to serve on the ACE Team, complete the VOLUNTEER INTEREST FORM available here:
