Hi First name / Friend!
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about time,
how it shapes us,
stretches us,
and sometimes even frustrates us.
Some days,
I trust divine timing completely.
Other days,
I find myself glancing at the clock,
wondering if God forgot to move.
Time humbles us.
It reminds us that no matter how much
we plan, prepare, or push forward,
it is the one thing we cannot command.
And yet, it commands so much of us:
our plans,
our peace,
our progress.
But what if the very thing we can’t manage
is already being managed perfectly?
“He has made everything beautiful in its time.” Ecclesiastes 3:11
Have you ever paused to consider
that the One who loves you most
is also the One who holds
all time in His hands?
Every second,
every season,
every unseen turn,
held by the same steady hands
that paint the skies,
order the oceans,
and call the sun to rise.
There is a sacred rhythm to time,
one we don’t control,
but one that never loses its cadence.
Steady. Sure. Beyond comprehension.
“But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” 2 Peter 3:8
Is it just me?
Some days I’m full of faith,
confident that everything is unfolding as it should.
Other days,
and sometimes the same day,
all I can seem to reach for
is anxiety and doubt.
Faith, I’m learning,
is not the absence of those moments.
It’s the decision to keep trusting through them.
Like a masterful watchmaker,
Heaven always keeps perfect time.
So, trust the Timekeeper.
Maybe this note finds you living in the tension of timing:
a daughter praying for healing,
a couple hoping for a child,
a woman believing for restoration in her family,
another faithfully sowing,
planning, preparing, showing up,
yet standing in a field
that hasn’t yet yielded its harvest.
Sometimes it isn’t about doubt.
It’s about endurance.
The waiting stretches us,
quietly, invisibly,
testing the depth of our trust.
Because trust isn’t stillness;
it’s choosing peace while the clock keeps ticking.
When uncertainty lingers,
Reflection becomes reassurance.
Trace the fingerprints of grace.
Doors that opened in their appointed hour.
Detours that became direction.
Delays that turned into protection.
“But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth His Son.” Galatians 4:4
Even redemption itself came on schedule,
not early,
not late,
but in the fullness of time.
That same divine precision governs our lives.
Each of us carries quiet evidence
of perfect timing,
proof positive that,
He’s never been late!
Reminding us that life is most beautiful
when time is held by the right hands.
This week, pause and pray:
Father, help me quiet the noise and breathe in the truth that my every moment is safely held in divine hands. Lord, teach me to trust Your timing, not just in theory, but in the seasons when my heart wants to rush ahead. Help me rest in the rhythm of Your will. Strengthen my faith in the waiting, and remind me that every delay still carries Your purpose. Thank You for being the Keeper of my time and the Author of my story.
Ask yourself:
• Where in my life am I being invited to slow down and trust God’s timing?
• What story from my past reminds me that His timing has always been good?
• How can I honor the season I’m in, even if it’s not yet the one I hoped for?
