Masha’Allah! What an incredible showing from our amazing AFA staff, families, and the entire ICN community at the Healthy-Driven 5K!
Despite the rain and wind, 125 ICN participants came out strong, running, walking, and cheering, all to support a great cause, raise funds for ICN, and strengthen our bonds with the Naperville community.
A huge thank you to our Shuyookh who model for us all that our health is an amanah! Your spirit and support kept us all motivated! We could not have done this without the support, constant encouragement and inspiration from our AFA parent, Sr. Promee. 💪🏽🏃♂️🏃♀️☔

🍰 Al-Falah Bake Sale for ICN – Support Our Masajid!
This Saturday, starting at 1 PM (outside the gym doors), we’ll be hosting a bake sale to raise funds for ICN. Please come out to support and bring your sweet tooth! Cash, credit, or Zelle will be accepted.
Also, don’t forget to bring in any remaining Sadaqah Jar envelopes as we wrap up our fundraiser. Let’s give generously and continue strengthening our connection to our masajid, our faith, and our community.
❄️ Cold Weather Reminders
As the temperatures drop, please ensure your child comes prepared with appropriate cold-weather gear. Please note that students may spend a short time outdoors during safety drills, so warm coats are important.
Please also:
- Ask students to keep extra items in backpacks when not in use.
- Label all personal items in case they’re misplaced.
- Be on time for pick-up, as we must vacate the Fischer building by 1:30 PM, and children will need to wait outside regardless of weather.

🌍 Muslims Around the World (MATW) – Coming Soon!
Planning is still underway for one of Al-Falah’s most popular events of the year. This event is a unique opportunity for our students and families to explore the beautiful diversity within the global Muslim ummah. Families host interactive tables representing different countries complete with creative cultural displays.
Held during a time of year when we may feel isolated or underrepresented in Western society, MATW is our way of celebrating our identity, building pride, and showcasing the richness of our cultures…all while making everyone feel welcomed and included.

🌟 Surah Club
Registration is about to close for Surah Club! This is an extra curricular opportunity for students to engage in a healthy competition with their peers to encourage excelling in the memorization of Quran! Students will memorize the Surahs on their own and compete during their testing dates.
Testing Dates:
- Nov. 1st: Pre-K, KG, & 1st Grades
- Nov. 8th: 2nd thru 4th Grades
- Nov. 15th: 5th thru 7th Grades
We encourage interested students to register and take part in this beneficial initiative. Please find the registration link and the list of Surahs and Duas below.

Family Fun Night is quickly approaching! Make sure to register if you haven't already and remember,
prices will go up to $25 on October 26th and the
