Hi,
I’m M, chief feel-good officer at Mental Health Activity. Because you’re in the Feel-Good Club, you’re getting this little Friday bundle of joy.
Every week, I prep the week ahead with one free tool, two fun activities, and three fuel-up finds. Hope you enjoy them!

This week, I feel the colors of autumn. I’m in the mood for hot chocolate, cinnamon and pumpkin spice, cozy movie nights, and reading novels. So I made something for this week: The Feel-Good Fall List.
Download it, print it, and stick it somewhere like the fridge door or beside the coffee maker. Then do as much as you can. Make this week very autumn. Btw, October 30 is National Checklist Day. I take fun things seriously. LOL

2 FUN ACTIVITIES

I took this photo last Halloween.

1- Friday is Halloween. It’s kids’ favorite day. Be one of those adults who make it even more fun for them. Check out some printable games. If you’re a teacher, playing a few Halloween-style games could be a good idea this week.

2- There are two very cool events this week: International Artists’ Day and Make a Difference Day. I’m thinking of doing an art + kind thing. Something like making a kindness jar and putting it somewhere outside. What do you think?

3 FUEL-UP FINDS

1- A good movie for this week: Pride and Prejudice!

2- This week’s short animation is one of my favorites: The Fantastic Flying Books

3- I learned a new word this week that I need in my life a lot: amor fati.
Amor fati is Latin for “love of fate.”
It means choosing to embrace everything that happens in your life, good and bad, as necessary and useful. The idea appears in Stoic philosophy and was later emphasized by Nietzsche.
How it looks in practice:
• When something hard happens, you ask, “How can this serve me or teach me?”
• You work with reality instead of wishing it were different.
• You turn setbacks into fuel for growth.
• You accept what you cannot control and focus on your response.
A simple habit: when plans change or problems show up, say “amor fati,” take a breath, and look for one small next step that turns the situation into progress.

3.5- This is for teachers and parents. We just made a Facebook group to share useful and interesting stuff for kids. It’s still very new, but the idea is nice. Please join to see if we can make something good there. We want to make kids happier and mentally healthier in the long term.

That’s all for this week. I’ll bring more good stuff next Friday. If you find cool things, reply to this email and share. I love getting messages from you!

Big hug,
M
