From My Heart:
When the World Feels Heavy
I don't know about you, but some mornings I open my phone and immediately wish I hadn't. The news. The headlines. The uncertainty. And I have to remind myself: worry accomplishes nothing except stealing my peace today.
That's not toxic positivity talking - it's just truth. God never promised us a stress-free life. What He did promise is that He's in control of all of it, and that He's good even when nothing else feels like it is. Spoiler alert: He wins. And we, as His children, win too.
I'm learning (slowly, imperfectly) that trusting God doesn't mean pretending everything's fine. It means choosing to believe He's working even when I can't see it. It means not letting anxious thoughts run wild at 2 AM (IYKYK). It means doing the next right thing in front of me rather than spiraling about things I can't control.
Prayer instead of panic. Trust instead of doomscrolling. His peace guarding our hearts - not because we've figured everything out, but because we know who holds it all.
So today, I'm choosing to fix my eyes on Him. Not because the world isn't heavy, but because He's strong enough to carry it.
