Lately, it feels like there's been a lot of secrecy in the art licensing world. I've heard from countless artists who've shared that they feel like licensing is some secret, guarded club. 

 

And that's just not my vibe. I believe that when we help each other grow, we all rise. 

 

So I'm doing something new!

 

I'm starting an email series called Art Licensing Insiders exclusively for artists on the waitlist for my program The Art of Collections.

This week's prompt was going to be “mushrooms”, but I realized I already did that prompt earlier this year! I don't want to double dip, so I decided to switch it up.

 

The reason I chose mushrooms was because I have a tiny mushroom pattern that is really simple but has done really well for me. It got picked up for licensing almost instantly after I added it to my licensing portfolio.

But rather than having you just design a mushroom pattern this week, your prompt is to make your own mini pattern using this formula.
