November on Bainbridge Island

While the days are getting shorter, the real estate market is still showing signs of light! Interest rates have stabilized, giving buyers renewed confidence, and sellers who prepare now will be well-positioned when activity picks back up after the holidays. It’s the perfect season to evaluate your home goals and strategize for a strong start in 2026. If you’re thinking about buying or selling in the coming months, I’d love to help you plan your next move with confidence and clarity. And because Bainbridge is always buzzing with local charm, I’m also sharing a few upcoming island events and happenings to make the most of this cozy season in our community.

Dia de Los Muertos at BIMA
November 1st
Join the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art for a day of remembrance, beauty, and cultural celebration during its annual Día de los Muertos Community Celebrations. The museum will come alive with music, art, and color, honoring loved ones who’ve passed on in a setting filled with warmth and tradition.

A butterfly procession of children will lead guests along a flower path into the museum, where a stunning multi-paneled ofrenda created by artist Araceli Cruz invites everyone to add their own mementos and stories. Guests can enjoy traditional treats like champurrado (Mexican hot chocolate) and pan de muerto, along with make-and-take art activities, face painting, live music, and more.

Two community ceremonies led by Alice Mendoza will be held at 11 AM and 3 PM (free tickets required). Even if you can’t register, visitors are encouraged to stop by throughout the day—the ofrenda and festivities continue all afternoon.

Location: Bainbridge Island Museum of Art – 550 Winslow Way E
