Hello, friends!!

Earlier this month I noticed a bunch of orders come in -- more than the usual amount -- all for…Rose. Suddenly it felt like Rose was flying off the shelf: I was packing up and shipping out printed Rose patterns every day, and there was a noticeable uptick in digital Rose sales as well.

After a bit of digging, I discovered that Lucy from Sew Essential, a sewing shop based out of the UK that stocks my patterns, had sewn herself a pair of beautiful Rose trousers and and posted a terrific review of the pattern on YouTube. I was so surprised and delighted to see Rose get such a glowing review, and it was fun to see Rose take the top-selling pattern slot for October.

It seems appropriate today to shine the spotlight on this versatile pattern, and while I'm at it, I thought I'd add a fun little weekend discount in case you haven't yet had a chance to try out this pattern!

Rose includes plus sizes, has three length options, and features a super comfy half-elastic waistband. It's a great sewing project for any season, whether that be summer (short!) or winter (long!) or fall (cropped!), but I have to say, I think they're especially suited for fall…

This plaid pair that Delia (@DeliaCreates) made, for instance, is absolutely perfect for fall!

And here's a pair I made for myself back in 2018 that I wore just the other day:
