November November 10th-15th

Both library locations will be closed on Tuesday, November 11th in honor of Veterans Day. Regular hours will resume on Wednesday, November 12th.

Curious George has taken over the Museum of Casa Grande on Wednesday, November 12th! Bring the kids to the museum at 10:00 a.m. for a library storytime with Curious George books and a scavenger hunt. Program is intended for children ages 2-5, but all children are welcome. Museum address: 110 W Florence Blvd, Casa Grande, AZ 85122.

Quiet Waters Global Maternal Wellness, The Casa Grande Union High School District, and the City of Casa Grande Public Library present: Veterans Lving Library. "Check Out" local militatry veterans and ask questions and hear their military stories. Mulitple eras represented! Wednesday, November 12th from 6-8 p.m. at the Vista Grande Library, 1556 N. Arizola Rd. Free event open to the public. Light refreshments.

The cameras on our phones are amazing but do you know all the features, tricks and tips? Join us on Thursday, November 13th from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at the Main Library, 449 N. Drylake St. for our Smartphone Photography technology class. No registration required. Tell your friends and family!

Dive into the captivating world of board games with us over an exciting 11-week journey. Each week brings a new adventure filled with fun, strategy, and friendly competition. This program is specially designed for students in grades 6 through 12, offering engaging gameplay sessions that promise to entertain and challenge. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to make new friends and discover your favorite board games! The fun starts at the Casa Grande Main Library on Thursdays @ 4:00 p.m.

Enhance your little one's development and love of music through song, dance, and simple instruments at the Casa Grande Main Library on November 14th at 10:00 a.m. Best suited for 5 and under but all are children welcome.

Do you like to knit or crochet? Maybe want to learn or teach others? Join the Crochet and Knitting Club on Fridays at the Vista Grande Library, from 3:30-5:00 p.m. Bring your own supplies. Some yarn will be available while supplies last. Ages 12+ and member led. 

Come learn how to use your garden bounty to make delicious recipes. Demonstrations and taste testing involved! Recipes will also be available to take home. Saturday, November 15th (this is the 3rd Saturday) from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the Vista Grande Library, 1556 N. Arizola Rd. No registration required, ages 16+. This month's main ingredient: Pumpkin.

Trouble arises when a human stumbles in this hotel and takes a liking to Dracula's daughter! Find out what happens on Saturday, November 15th at our Saturday Movie and Coloring Activity. Held at the Casa Grande Main Library, 449 N. Drylake St. Movie starts at 2 p.m. Light snacks and drinks with screw top lids allowed. Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult and adults who attend must have a child with them.

Ms. Violeta and Alondra will host a Spanish Conversation Gathering to practice your Spanish speaking skills. No registration required. Thursdays at the Vista Grande Library from 12:30-1:00 p.m. September 18th through December 4th.

Come to the Vista Grande library for monthly gardening tips. The presentations are given by University of Arizona Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners.

Volunteers needed! The Central Lutheran Church Adult Community Education (ACE) Team offers general education tutoring and English as a second language (ESL) coaching. Volunteers work one-on-one or with small groups once or twice a week to help participants achieve personal development goals. If you would like to serve on the ACE Team, complete the VOLUNTEER INTEREST FORM available here:
