Honoring Flynn, Helping Pets, and Celebrating Community

This week, we’re coming together as a community to celebrate Flynn’s life and welcome Samson as the new America’s Hometown Hound. We’ll share details about the upcoming Celebration of Life event, highlight our generous host Just Around the Corner, Inc., and provide our Pet Food Pantry Donation Wish List so you can help local pets in need.

Flynn’s Celebration of Life & Honoring the Next Hometown Hound

Sunday, November 9th from 1PM – 3PM

Moose Lodge, 601 State Rd, Plymouth, MA

Hosted by Just Around the Corner, Inc.

Join us as we honor the life of Flynn, a gentle and loving 3-year-old Newfoundland who captured Plymouth’s hearts as the 2025 America’s Hometown Hound. Sadly, Flynn recently and unexpectedly passed away from cancer. His gentle spirit and loving presence will always be remembered.

In keeping with tradition, Flynn’s role as America’s Hometown Hound will be passed on to the second-place winner, Samson. Let’s come together to remember Flynn and cheer on Samson as he steps into some big paws to fill. Donations of pet food and supplies will be collected in Flynn’s memory and donated to Helping Hands to support pets in need.

This family-friendly event will include:

Local vendor tables featuring pet-related and handmade items

Craft stations for kids and adults — make pet name bracelets or decorate ornaments

Raffle baskets and prizes generously donated by local businesses

Donations of pet food and supplies — all proceeds will support Plymouth Helping Hands for Animals
