Autumn's Grace and Promise
As the air turns crisp and the season takes full breath, I am reminded of the gentle pulse which sweeps us towards another New England winter.  The trees begin to bare revealing their delicate silhouette; nestling beneath the surface for a long winters rest.

We can learn from the trees. We can pause and take a moment to reflect and rest. Although the winters here can be long and cold, I’d miss them if they ceased. I’d miss the blessed opportunity to rest. Always reminding myself that Autumn, now transitioning to the pause of winter, is also God's gentle and unceasing promise of spring.

The famous scripture verse Psalm 23:2-3 reminds me of God's intention that we remember to rest and renew. And as always, God speaks to us through His creation using nature to guide and inspire us.

He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
Psalm 23:2-3

Thanksgiving Favorites 2025
Here is a collection of little favorites I am enjoying this month. From curling up with a wonderful novel, to dreams of an heirloom menu with a table dressed to embrace the season. I love this time of year where we gather together in a day of thanks. All of the items have been carefully chosen and personally enjoyed. I will be uploading photos of my dining table setting in my next post, so keep an eye out for that. Click the link below for descriptions and shopping.
