Be Here Now. 💛 November invites us to slow down, notice what matters, and practice gratitude with intention. In a world that constantly pulls our attention onto screens, presence has become a radical act — and the most meaningful gift we can offer our kids (and ourselves).
This month, we’re focusing on small, powerful shifts that help families reconnect: ✨ More looking up ✨ Less scrolling ✨ More real conversations ✨ Less distraction Whether it’s a screen-free dinner, a handwritten thank-you note, or a quiet walk outside, gratitude grows when we create space for it. Your Family Can Start to get the month started on the right foot! |

With Shopping Season (ahem, holidays) Quickly Approaching… 🛒 🛍️ 💳 As holiday shopping begins, remember: gifts don’t need a power button to be magical. Screens are marketed as “fun,” but often end up replacing imagination, connection, and real experience. This season, consider giving gifts that add to your child’s life — not distract from it.
We wrote a short article on why devices should not be positioned as a holiday gift, and how doing so can unintentionally create entitlement, obsession, and power struggles.➡️ READ THE ARTICLE HERE ✨And keep an eye out — This year’s Screen-Free Gift Guide is coming soon and it is GOOD! So many creative, meaningful, dopamine-boosting ideas that don’t involve a screen from young children to young adults. And a full book list as well! 🎁✨ |
