Unify, observe, mystery, and reflection--thank you for exploring these prompts with me these past 4 weeks! I hope this sketchbook un-slump helped you tap into your creative side, your curiosity, and your unique way of expressing yourself. I also hope this series helped you connect with your creative practice and gain some momentum.

No matter where you are in this challenge, keep going, keep creating, and keep using your imagination to bring new ideas into this world!

Thank you for allowing me to share my ideas and art with you--below are a few final notes including what's next, how to support my work if you'd like, and a bonus prompt!

BONUS PROMPT
Image item
The furoshiki gift wrapping picture at the start of this email made me think of using “share” as the bonus prompt! Here are a few ideas to help get you started:
  • Make your own wrapping paper when sharing gifts with your loved ones! Take large sheets of plain paper, a roll of kraft paper, recycle brown paper shopping bags, and add your art to it--whether it's doodles, abstract paint splatters, or your writing (here's a hand lettering gift wrap tutorial to try).
  • Find a favorite quote to share Write it and add images, create a collage using cut out words, illustrate an image that depicts the words.
  • What is something someone has shared with you? Pass that on--it can be an art technique, a craft, a story, a life lesson or advice. Create a piece that passes on the process or message.

Thank you for joining me for a month of creativity, discovery, and fun. I hope to stay in touch and that we get to create together again soon!

Take care,
