Titan Nation,

 

This is a special edition of the Weekly Scroll, highlighting Give Miami Day (GMD) – our school's biggest fundraiser of the year. Give Miami Day is one of the largest 24-hour fundraisers in the nation when many of Miami's non profits fundraise through the GMD platform and contests. 

 

True North first participated in Give Miami Day in 2020, and the enthusiasm and effort put into our campaign by the Titan Community exceeded all expectations. That excitement continues today. We have won 4 years in a row the most unique donations out of all the non profits.  Last year we had over 2,709 individual donations. Every year, our True North Titans come together as one family to fundraise for our school and its mission. Historically, we have always reached—and often surpassed—our goals. Many families use Give Miami Day to fund the rest of their annual Community Fund amount of $1,500.  

 

Let's make sure 2025 is no different and reach our goal of $400,000!

Set up your Fundraising Page 

You can participate in Give Miami Day (GMD) in a variety of ways, and the most effective is setting up your own individual fundraiser and rallying your friends, family, and classmates to donate.  

 

You can also join the GMD fun by supporting grade-level fundraisers. True North Classical Academy creates these fundraisers for each grade, and the grade level with the highest fundraiser at each school wins special prizes.

Early Giving

By creating your individual fundraiser, you can get a head start by participating in a 4-day Early Giving Window.  It opens tonight at midnight and runs through November 19, the last day to create an individual fundraiser.

 

Participating in Early Giving gives your individual fundraiser a head start toward your goal! This year, we are aiming to raise $400,000, and we need the full power of our Titan Community to reach it. By creating your fundraising page early and sharing it with your family, friends, and classmates, you can start collecting donations right away and get a head start toward achieving your individual goal.
