Hello my little butter tarts!!

Hope you're all having a lovely December. Are you as obsessed with Heated Rivalry as I am? I was watching the third episode on my tablet this weekend, and squealed and grabbed Mr. Archer's arm while hissing THIS SHOW IS SO FREAKING GOOD!!! in the scary demon voice I use when I get extra excited, and I scared the poor guy.

I've been sitting on some very exciting news!! I'm going on tour for The Wild Card! By request, I'm hitting up all indie romance bookstores (yay!!) and I have some incredible conversation partners!! I'm such a lucky girl. Now I need to figure out my outfits.

I put this podcast on during a long drive recently and was blown away at how little I knew about Malala! She's an incredible person, but she's also funny, charming, and genuine. I really enjoyed listening to her speak about her life in recent years, as well as her passion for girls' education.

I almost exclusively read romance, but there's one white man who's books I actually love, and it's Andy Weir! He's clever and funny and his books scratch that problem-solving part of my brain. He started writing The Martin as a type of serial, just for fun, and it took off because obviously it is amazing (the movie is Mr Archer and my comfort watch).

I saw the trailer for the Project Hail Mary movie (with Ryan Gosling!!) and knew I had to read it, and it did not disappoint!! It's a little heavy on the science but worth it. Rocky is maybe the sweetest, most lovable character I've read in a long time.

He’s the undisputed loathe of my life. My blood-sworn nemesis.
And the man whose toilets I have to scrub for the next thirty days.

How’s your week going?

It’s inspiring, really—the son of a single mother from humble beginnings rises to become one of the most successful men on the planet, then goes off to exact revenge on the spoiled, bratty heiress he’s been dying to strangle since preschool.

The wicked little witch that—allegedly—had his mother fired just to get rid of him.
The self-centered, ungrateful hellion who—allegedly—has never touched a kitchen glove in her life.

It’s so satisfying, such delicious due justice, watching him corner her into striking a deal to be his maid for a month.

Too bad he’s so full of sh*t.

“Hatred” barely scratches the surface. “Enemy” is too mild a term.
It’s twenty years of pent-up frustration, rivalry, taunting, and resentment coming to a head.
Thirteen years of quiet heartbreaks, stolen glances, and unrequited butterflies getting buried deeper.
And thirty days of playing with fire… until we finally push each other just a little too far, our flame starts to burn just a little too bright, and all the secrets we tried so hard to hide come spilling into the light.

Dominic Crawford has always been the villain in my story, and I’m the fool who fell head over heels in love with him anyway.

"An instant romantasy classic!" -- Katee Robert, New York Times bestselling author

Enter a new world of romantic fantasy from award-winning author N.E. Davenport—a journey of powerful magic, enemies-to-lovers, and political intrigue—as a warrior-princess and a vengeful king from rival fae courts form a fierce alliance to take down a merciless despot.

Princess of the Aether Dominion, Kadeesha wants nothing to do with fae politics. She is a warrior, first and foremost, and believes her greatest strength is leading her squadron of elite winged serpent flyers to protect her homeland. But bound since infancy to be betrothed to the Hyperion High King, ruler of all Dominions, she has no choice but to do what men have chosen for her.
Repulsed by the idea, she decides to spend one last night of freedom—in the arms of a dangerous stranger who takes her to sexual heights she’s never experienced before…but who is only using Kadeesha to set a trap for the High King.
For the High King and the kings of his six Dominions were responsible for the decimation of the Apollyon Court, and its new king, Malachi, wants his pounds of flesh.
On Kadeesha’s wedding day, Malachi and his special forces attack. Her father is killed, and Malachi wounds the High King, ultimately taking Kadeesha as hostage back to his land.
But she is no true hostage. The two form a pact: she will help lure the High King so Malachi can kill him once and for all, and he in turn will not harm Kadeesha or the Aether people. And as much as Kadeesha hates politics, she is now the Queen of her folk. Fae bonds are unbreakable…and so, perhaps, is the attraction Kadeesha and Malachi feel for each other. For even as they must publicly display their connection to provoke the High King’s jealousy, they struggle to resist the powerful allure between them in order to achieve their ultimate goals.

A sugar-filled, fake holi-dating, small town romance filled with heat, heart, a couple of temperamental weenie dogs, and heaps of holiday cheer from USA Today Bestselling Author Maren Moore.

A lost letter to Santa gone terribly wrong…or perfectly right?
As the owner of my family’s vintage candy shop, there are two things I’m great at: Sweet treats and Christmas.
Love on the other hand?
Not so much.
So when my best friend insists we write letters to Santa asking for our dream men for Christmas, I figure it’s just a bit of holiday fun…until my letter mysteriously disappears.
And then Wells McCoy moves in next door.
Retired hockey player. New bar owner. Ridiculously handsome.
Infuriatingly expert at pushing all of my buttons.
And somehow, he checks off nearly every box from my dream man wish list.
When Wells unexpectedly steps in to help me save face in front of my ex, we strike a deal: A little fake holi-dating to get us both through the season. No feelings and no strings.
But between confusing mistletoe kisses, cozy nights with his family, and chemistry that feels anything but fake, lines start to blur.
Suddenly, fake feels a lot like falling.
And with the clock ticking down to Christmas, I can’t help but wonder: was it all just a sweet coincidence… or is this Christmas magic after all?
