ISSUE #25 | December 1, 2025

Hi, it's Miriam.

Welcome back to the At Work Tune Up, your insider’s playbook with practical, quick, tips on how to improve your team dynamics and keep things happy and healthy at work.

We spend a lot of time at work. We should love what we do.

Let's get started.
This week's tip for your toolbox:

💡 Why Galvanizing Matters: Turning “Good ideas” into “Let’s go!”

Most teams don’t suffer from a lack of good ideas. What they lack is going from idea ➡️ making it happen.

Without someone to rally the group, clarify the next step, and generate energy, even the best strategies stall out.

That’s where the Genius of Galvanizing shines. It brings urgency, enthusiasm, and activation. It gets people off the sidelines and into motion.

Before your next big project conversation, ask yourself: “Who on this team naturally brings energy and can help us get moving?”

Notice who lights up when action is needed—that’s your galvanizer.

How to make it happen

🛠 Try this in your next meeting:

Name the moment: Pause and say, “We’ve got the idea. Now let’s shift to activation.”
Invite the galvanizers: Ask the person with natural energy for this phase, “Can you kick off next steps and rally us?”
Create a simple action map: In 3 minutes, list who needs to do what by when. Keep it scrappy, not perfect.
Bring on the cheer: Celebrate the first action taken, even if small. Galvanizers thrive on quick momentum.

✅ This week’s challenge
Identify one person on your team who embodies the Genius of Galvanizing.
Tell them directly:
“Your energy helps this team move forward. I’d love for you to help us kick off the next step of ___.”

See what shifts when you invite in their talent.

Try it. Let me know how it goes.

Small changes make a big difference.

Just get started.
