🛠 Try this in your next meeting:
Normalize asking for help: Say aloud, “What support do you need to get this moving?” This may be the most important piece. We can't do it all, and being comfortable with the openness around helping is A) modeling confidence and courage, and B) the most productive way to move forward.
Spot the enablers: Notice who naturally steps in with, “I can help with that,” or “Want me to finish that up?”
Pair strategically: Assign an enabler to someone carrying a heavy lift. They thrive when lifting others.
Model appreciation: When someone offers support, name it: “Thank you! That’s exactly what we needed to move forward.”
✅ This week’s challenge
Choose one project or person that is stuck or slow-moving.
Ask:
“What’s one piece of support - time, resources, partnership - that would help you this week?”
Then provide that support proactively.
You’ll see energy, confidence, and momentum return quickly.
Try it. Let me know how it goes.
