Dear First name / Friend of Harambee Arts,
As Harambee Arts Kenya and Harambee Arts Nepal move into a new year, we carry with us the faces, stories, and laughter of the thousands of children, women and men who have found safety, expression, and hope through our work.
Your belief in our gentle, creative approach brings light to communities facing unimaginable challenges—basic survival, poverty, and fear.
Because of you, children who once felt invisible now paint their stories in color.
Because of you, women who were isolated and had lost their voices now gather in circles of strength and sisterhood.
Joy returns. Hope returns. Life returns.
Tumeshukuru means “we are grateful” in Swahili.
As this year comes to an end, we invite you to stand with us once again, reminding every child and adult we meet that they are seen, valued, and loved.
From our hearts to yours,
TUMESHUKURU.
