- Joe Farrell, Co-Founder and Director of Programs (pictured above), has an award-winning and utterly fantastic beard.
- Their annual Evening of Arts for Autism always includes circus performers, which is pure fun and a delightful challenge to photograph in new ways each year.
- They approach every working relationship with the spirit of collaborative partnership. It's never about you do X and I do Y, it's how can we both do our best to make this as successful as possible?
- They make us feel seen and supported at every stage. Sam reached out when working with one of their young clients to create some business assets because a family member of that client was inserting themselves into the process and generally being non-awesome, and she felt really unsure how to handle it. The response was full of validation and again, their supportive partnership.
- They are super intentional about everything they do. Sam has participated in some survey opportunities to gather input and feedback on Evolve's plans for its currently under-construction Inclusion Center. Recently, she was reviewing a slideshow, going over details of planned programming for the space, and was tasked with answering the question “Is there anything we are missing or haven't considered here?” Each time she thought she might have an idea, she'd click to the next slide and realize, “Nope, they already thought of that!”
