Hi First name / friend,
I know I fell off the habit of sending newsletters this year, and it probably seems like when I do it's just to announce a sale; and yes, that'll be a part of this one as well. But I'm also here to express my gratitude. This has arguably been the hardest year of my life. I've had to be very honest and vulnerable within my business which is hard for me to do because I am a private person who has strived to keep my business as separate from my personal life as I can. The summer was the hardest and lowest point of the year that resulted in the inability to get into my studio for many weeks causing my orders, both wholesale and retail, to pile up and shipping dates to get pushed back - sometimes many weeks. Many of you have reached out in support and love and offered your helping hands. This community of Saxapahaw, NC has really cradled me and nurtured me.

I want to let all of you know that this is not how I normally run my business. Life really hit hard this year but I'm adjusting to this new era and working on tightening the ship back up. Orders are almost caught up from the summer, our shop at Riverside Collective is restocked with leather goods again, I have a sweet intern, and I'm finding my joy in creating again.
