Hello, First name / my friend!
We're just a few WEEKS(!!!!) out until the release of In a Second and I have an excerpt for you! These two are so much fun (and so fiery together!). I hope you love it! Be sure to scroll down for anthology news, some AMAZING book recommendations, and ARC sign-ups for an author friend!

“Just remember, I asked you nicely.”

Her face twisted into a murderous glare. “You didn’t ask—”

I hooked an arm around her waist and pulled her into the far stall, the one no one ever used because it was the size of a small coffin. What it lacked in elbow room it made up for as an unmatched hiding place. The partition walls extended to the floor and the overhead lighting barely reached this corner, leaving us concealed in the shadows. Even if we did have to stand with our legs braced on either side of the toilet and we were never more than an inch away from putting an eye out on the coat hook.

It also left us tangled together without so much as a breath between us. I was painfully aware of every knob of her spine, every gentle curve of her hips, every strand of her hair where I tucked her head under my chin. Of her body tucked against mine, no daylight between us, and the muscle memory that came with it.

If you don't prefer to read from Amazon, you're welcome to preorder directly from my shop. Orders will close on December 8. BookFunnel will deliver your ebook via email on December 9.
The audio book will be performed by Alex Kydd and Savannah Peachwood, and available in early 2026.
Also Coming Soon: Surprise! You're getting another story from me in December! The Packing List is a limited-release romance anthology featuring 12 original, never-before-seen, later-in-life love stories from bestselling authors. One hundred percent of net proceeds will be donated to sexual and reproductive health care organizations. My story, Fine Lines, features dueling surgeons stuck sharing a hotel room.
One more thing: I've teamed up with a bunch of my author friends, led by the amazing Lyssa Kay Adams, to raise money in support of Feeding America this month. I'm offering a bunch of signed books and special editions to donors--including a signed copy of The Happily Ever After Society, an incredible, full-color coffee table book packed with photos and interviews with dozens of your favorite authors (and me!).

I hope you're doing well, my friend! Happiest of holidays to my US celebrating this week.

Who loves an Advance Review Copy?

I want to introduce you to an author friend of mine, Samm Wilde. I think you'll really like her work, especially if you're a fan of Kat Ryan, Julie Olivia, and Hannah Bonham-Young. Think characters in their 30s living real lives.

Her second book hits shelves in February and she's looking for ARC readers. Sign-up here! Check out the first book in the interconnected standalone Hemlock series, A New Leaf.

New book recommendations to keep you busy!

Illusions of Fire by Nisha Sharma - The Percy Jackson nostalgia combined with Buffy vibes were fantastic. Except with a young woman mainly kicking ass?? 10/10. Even though this is an urban fantasy, there’s a rich world building experience as the mythology is explained.

Bound by Ali Hazelwood - Viktor Ashworth makes grad school worth the hassle. Currently only available as an audio exclusive.

All Superheroes Need Photo Ops by Elizabeth Stephens - this was HOT and yeah he might be the villain, but he's her villain. Darius can get it. You might remember I recommended the first in the series, All Superheroes Need PR, earlier in the year. Definitely worth the read!

Our Vicious Oaths by N.E. Davenport - true enemies to lovers in an adult fantasy standalone. “We're supposed to kill each other but we need to kill this other guy first and oops, we fell in love along the way.” Feral energy, impeccable vibes.

The Bright Side of Christmas by Morgan Elizabeth - absurdly adorable, a silly good time. If this book doesn't make you pull out the Christmas decorations early, I don't know what will.
