I want to begin with a genuine thank you. This year in our new space has been meaningful because of the trust you’ve brought into it; the conversations we’ve had, the challenges you’ve shared, and the honesty with which you’ve approached your health.
What’s stood out to me most isn’t the physical space itself, but the way your stories have shaped the work happening inside it. Many of you have navigated weight changes, hormonal shifts, and seasons of feeling out of sync with your bodies. Hearing what those experiences were actually like, not just clinically, but emotionally has influenced how I practice day to day.
This year reminded me that good care isn’t just about protocols; it’s about creating a place where you feel seen, respected, and not rushed. I’m grateful for the trust you’ve placed in me and for the way your openness has continued to refine the kind of care I’m committed to providing.
02. What Helps Most When Everything Is Off Schedule
December rarely cooperates with routine. Travel, school events, hosting, and deadlines can leave your days feeling scattered and when everything pulls you in different directions, it helps to narrow your focus to a few stabilizing anchors. Here are the priorities that make the biggest difference:
Anchor one meal with meaningful protein, especially breakfast. It steadies glucose early and helps reduce late-day cravings.
Protect 10–15 minutes of movement. A short walk or light circuit is enough to improve glucose handling and calm the stress response.
Simplify medication routines while traveling. Some medications require precise timing; others are more forgiving. If you’re unsure which category yours fall into, reach out and I’ll walk you through it.
Aim for realistic hydration and steady wake times. Your body relies on cues more than perfection consistency matters far more than strict adherence.
Think of this as a guide, not a prescription. These are the levers that support stability when life gets messy.
03. Permission to Do Less
This season often pulls people in ten different directions. I see many patients try to counter that by tightening their routines even further, and the body usually responds with fatigue, irritability, disrupted appetite cues, or glucose swings.
So here’s a gentle reminder: doing less is medically supportive.
Rest doesn’t signal a lapse in commitment. It protects metabolic function, steadies hunger signals, and lowers the stress load that drives fluctuations. Sometimes the most effective intervention is easing up: trimming a commitment or two, choosing earlier evenings, or allowing yourself boundaries without guilt.
04. New Prices for Wegovy & Zepbound
What to Know
Recent national pricing changes may make these medications more accessible for many patients. Here’s a quick breakdown of what’s new:
Wegovy now starts at $349/month for self-pay patients, with some new-patient programs offering $199/month for the first two months.
Zepbound has also been reduced, beginning at $299/month for lower-dose vials, with mid- and high-dose options discounted as well.
For patients on Medicare or Medicaid, recent policy changes may reduce net costs significantly — in some cases to around $245/month with copays near $50.
If you’ve been considering medication-assisted weight support but cost held you back, this may be a good time to revisit the conversation.
Feeling well is about balance, the harmony between how you feel on the inside and how you care for yourself on the outside.
