Discover handcrafted glass ornaments made by small European artisan families, using traditional materials and centuries-old techniques. The perfect token to share with loved ones for generations to come.
The art of drawn glass involves skillful mouth blowing to achieve unique shapes, resulting in a true one-of-a-kind piece.
Some ornaments are made using the same original wooden molds from the 1800's.
SILVER PLATING
Inner Glow
Each ornament is dipped in a safe, mercury bath, coating it in a layer of silver that is entirely wear-proof and provides the ornaments with a rich, lustrous quality that catches light unlike any other.
Hand Painting
Master
Brushwork
Precise and steady hands add intricate details using small brushstrokes and without the aid of airbrushing. Glittering stones and sparkles are adhered individually, with no two details appearing the same.
“Every Christmas, I take out my ornaments, and revel in the chaotic mix of vintage and new. Each ornament has a story and a memory for me. I have a vintage felt clown, made in the 60's, from my mother's side. She got it as a child from her uncle. Then there's the little wooden stork, from my father's side - a token brought over from Germany when they moved here after the war. There are tacky 90's childhood baubles that remind me of my brother and crocheted snowflakes made by a friend during my 20's.
Every one of these special ornaments holds the memory of a person, a time, or a place, that I get to revisit every year.”
